Lang Dulay’s designs are prominent in the T’boli people and their culture. This sacred art becomes important during birth, marriage, and death. She described some of the symbols she uses in her designs as the following.

Colors Used

Red- emphasizes patterns of T’nalak such as diamonds, triangles, and rhombus.

Black- serves as the main background of the clothes.

​

Natural or almost white- emphasizes different motifs like human, frog, and flower.
